Accessibility audits against WCAG 2.2, BITV and EN 301 549

Since December 2024 I have been auditing digital products against WCAG 2.2 AA, BITV and EN 301 549, among others for banks and public institutions. Mostly these are complete user journeys, such as online loan applications from the first input to the confirmation.

I test manually with the keyboard and VoiceOver, supported by browser tooling and small tools I built myself. In parallel I check the code and the accessibility tree, the structure screen readers read. Every finding names the success criterion, examples from the journey and a suggested fix, so development teams can act on it directly. I write the reports in English and retest after the fixes.

On top of that I advise on accessible solutions for single components, such as confirmation patterns or card and list views, and sometimes build them directly as accessible prototypes.
